In 2002, when Production Services Network (then part of KBR Production Facilities) first arrived in Kazakhstan and began work on its then-single project, the company's headcount was no more than ten. Nine years later, after undergoing numerous transformations, PSN KazStroy JSC has grown into a large Kazakhstani company with a total of approximately 1,500 employees, implementing a wide range of oil and gas projects for international and Kazakhstani clients. The company's staff successfully implements client projects in the Atyrau region—specifically, the Tengiz and Kashagan projects—as well as in the Aktobe region. Plans for the near future include expanding the geography of PSN KazStroy JSC's Kazakhstani projects.
The company places great importance on internal standards, which can truly be considered a model of corporate policy and culture. Established as a joint venture between PSN, a leading Scottish oil and gas company, and KazStroyService, a Kazakhstani oil and gas construction company, PSN KazStroy JSC adopted PSN's corporate standards as the basis for its management and further development in Kazakhstan. In 2010, Wood Group PLC, a global leader in oil and gas services, acquired PSN's business. The newly formed Wood Group PSN is currently part of the Wood Group.
