Eaton's Bussmann series of electric vehicle (EV) fuses are purpose-built protection solutions that utilize market-leading compact, high-speed designs with life simulation capabilities.

The Bussmann series of medium-voltage oil-immersed fuse links are designed for use in oil-filled switchgear. They are suitable for primary-side transformer protection and oil-filled circuit breaker assemblies. This type of fuse was first developed in the UK. Eaton has been continuously producing them for nearly 40 years and is one of the most widely used devices of this type in the world. More than 1 million Eaton Bussmann series oil-immersed medium-voltage fuse links have been installed.

Bussmann medium-voltage motor fuses provide short-circuit protection for both the starter and the cables. They comply with BS 2692-1 standards.

Eaton's Bussmann series pull-out fuses are specifically designed for protecting overhead lines and capacitor banks. A wide range of options are available, including slow-acting, instant-acting, and ultra-fast-acting. They comply with ANSI C37-42.

Eaton Bussmann medium voltage full-range and backup fuse links in DIN standard provide superior transformer protection. They are available with or without striker. They comply with dimensional standards DIN 43625, VDE 0670, and IEC 60282-1. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Bussmann Air series medium voltage fuse links are suitable for primary-side transformer protection, combined switch-fuse units, fuse bases, and switch-fuse units. They comply with BS 2692 Part 1 1975. A range of options are available, including full-range options and alternative mounting methods, such as various types of tags, rivets, and collars. Higher current ratings can be achieved by connecting fuses in parallel, and special mounting devices are available for this purpose.

Eaton Bussmann fuse links for medium-voltage auxiliary transformers are specifically designed for use in the primary winding of voltage transformers. They comply with BS 2692-1 and IEC 60282-1 standards.

Eaton's Bussmann series medium voltage fuse clips complement Eaton's range of tag retainers. They are suitable for use with British Standard medium voltage fuses, DIN sizes, and VT-style fuse links. British Standard and DIN size clips are rated for up to 200 amps. They are designed for installation in insulated studs or directly on the busbar.

Eaton's Bussmann series of low-voltage NH fuse links offer ratings from 2 to 1250 amps and deliver world-leading performance and reliability. The range is fully compliant with IEC 60269-1, 60269-2, third-party-approved VDE 0636-2, and DIN 43620. Dual indication (front and top) allows NH fuse links to provide both local visual indication and remote (microswitch) indication of fuse status. Eaton Bussmann NH fuse links are available in the following operating classes: gg, gff, and am.

Eaton Bussmann NH series fuse bases and pinions are specifically designed for use with NH fuses in a wide range of applications. The NH mechanism is extremely compact and secure, and all live parts are fully protected from accidental contact. NH bases and pinions come with a full range of accessories, such as microswitches and additional covers.

Eaton Bussmann gG and aM series cylindrical fuse links are suitable for industrial applications. gG cylindrical fuse links are designed for general overload and short-circuit protection. aM cylindrical fuse links protect against short circuits in motors, transformers, and any devices typically subject to high inrush currents. A full range of modular fuse holders is available in three sizes: 10 x 38 mm, 14 x 51 mm, and 22 x 58 mm.

Eaton's standard British Bussmann fuses can be used in a variety of applications, including industrial, utility, street, and domestic lighting. A full range of current and voltage ratings, as well as compatible fuse holders, are available. They comply with BS88 Parts 1 and 2 and IEC 60269-1 and -2.
