Data transmission systems

The DeviceNet network connects sensors, drives, and PLCs. It is based on UL/CSA-certified technology and operates over a temperature range of -40 to +80°C.

Application areas

• For particularly flexible applications
• DeviceNetTM, an industrial network, connects industrial devices such as limit switches, photoelectric switches, pneumatic terminals, motor starters, variable frequency drives, and control devices.

Characteristics

• Based on the proven CAN (Controller Area Network) technology
• Information transfer rates are limited by cable lengths and cross-sections.

Design

Fixed installation and conditionally flexible use in dry or damp indoor and outdoor conditions. Temperature range from -55 to +250 °C.

Design

• Coaxial cables, due to their design, are the least susceptible to external interference.

• Control cables and signal cables are used in electronics, for computers, electronic control and regulation devices, scales, office equipment and are used where control cables of optimal dimensions are required.
