The Ex-Lite Z is only available in an AC version, while the Ex-Lite ZE is available with a standalone battery. As an emergency lighting fixture with a standalone battery system, the Ex-Lite ZE is equipped with a nickel-cadmium battery with automatic testing and monitoring.
