PowerFlex 523 AC drives are cost-effective and ideal for standalone applications. These drives feature an innovative modular design for quick and easy installation and configuration. They also offer USB programming, application-specific configuration, and flexible mounting options. PowerFlex 523 AC drives are available in power ratings from 0.2 to 22 kW (0.25 to 30 hp) with common voltage ratings of 100 to 600 V. They support a wide motor control range, are compact in size, and operate at temperatures up to 70°C.

- It has a modular design with an innovative removable control core that allows software to be installed and configured simultaneously.

- Offers horizontal mounting with 50mm (1.96") of airflow clearance at the top and bottom of the drive
- Supports low-cost networking via built-in RS485/DSI port
