The NEWCAP "e" series is a metal cable gland for unarmoured cable, approved for use in Exe: Newcap CT "e" and Newcap MS "e".
Made from galvanized brass and stainless steel, and in the EMI-protected version, these cable entries have a wide range of applications.

Unarmored cable
A cable with insulated cores, without a layer of mechanical (metallic) protection.
Braided marine cable
Cable designed for marine use.
SWB - Steel wire braided cable
Cable with steel wire braiding to protect conductors from mechanical interference.
Protection category
ATEX
Approved according to EU directives for explosive atmospheres.
IECEx
Approved according to international IEC standards for equipment in explosive atmospheres.
Other certificates: NEPSI & SABS
