N-TB housings made of stainless steel or sheet steel

The Crouse-Hinds N-TB Series is our line of premium stainless steel enclosures. Constructed from 316L stainless steel and painted mild steel, N-TB enclosures are designed for mounting rail terminals or other electrical components in corrosive and harsh outdoor environments.

These enclosures are also available fully assembled as custom-made and certified terminal boxes. Options include special entries, cable glands, and blanking plates with integrated terminals (Ex-e and Ex-i), as well as other equipment.

Design Features

Twenty-eight basic sizes in five standard sizes for optimal placement of terminals or rail-mounted components.
Fully removable hinged lid, concealed hinges allow 180° opening.
Lid fastening, two or three captive stainless steel screws on one side
The protrusion on the stand increases the contact area with the gasket, providing a high degree of protection against contaminants.
Internal/external ground stud
40mm wide mounting lugs for installation on standard frames
Option with 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 gland panels
An optional padlock latch is available through the cover.

Myers terminals, seals and hubs assembled to customer specifications
Drilled holes for cable entries according to customer specifications
Threaded entries on 6mm thick flange panels

Standard materials

Body – Polished 316L stainless steel (standard); Polished 304 stainless steel; Painted mild steel (optional)
Gasket – foamed silicone (standard); cut silicone for long-term temperatures (optional)
