Crouse-Hinds CEAG GUB and GUBA IEC ATEX enclosures provide Ex d protection in Zones 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous locations. They are used in rigid threaded conduit systems in hazardous areas as a junction box, pull-out box, or enclosure for equipment and devices.

Design Features

Threaded design allows for use in hazardous areas
The covers are equipped with a neoprene o-ring to meet NEMA 4/IP67 requirements for a watertight seal.
GUB enclosures can be factory drilled and tapped to meet IEC hazardous area requirements for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22; GUBA enclosures are available with a variety of conduit entry options.
An internal grounding lug in the GUB housing provides the ability to ground enclosed equipment.
