Design Features
- The housings have an external flange - the interior is fully accessible when the cover is removed.

Concealed mounting is provided - this is made possible by the presence of four clearance holes for screws or mounting bolts in the rear of the case, one in each corner

The internal assembly, consisting of the mounting panel, main terminal blocks and circuit breakers, is removed as a single unit.

Sufficient trench space is provided to facilitate installation of field wiring.

The circuit breakers are housed in compact individual sealed enclosures suitable for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups C, D hazardous areas.

The sealed main cover, which prevents dirt and moisture from entering, is secured to the enclosure with hex-head bolts and is removed only for panel installation or wiring changes; in the center of the main cover is a sealed hinged door that provides access only to the circuit breaker control handles and is held closed by two quick-release latches; the door can be locked with three padlocks to prevent unauthorized access.

Threaded conduit openings are provided for main conduit and branches; standard openings can be reduced or closed to meet most installation requirements.

Circuit breakers are arranged in two vertical rows and have circuit numbers printed on the handles; the left row is numbered 1, 3, 5, 7, etc., and the right row is numbered 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.; identifying information may be printed on a circuit catalog card attached to the inside of the hinged door.
