Design Features
The DSD/DSDX cover and device components have:
- The device contacts for the control posts for the signal lamp, pushbutton and selector switch are factory sealed; no external seal is required, which increases safety and reduces costs.
- Factory seal available for engine starter switch and momentary switch assemblies.
- Large captive screws secure the cover to the body (DSDX only)
- The streamlined design allows for easy upgrade to NEMA 4X* protection; simply purchase the DSDX cover and unit assembly and use with the aluminum back box installed.
- A 1/4" deadbolt padlock hole is provided when used with front lever and side type covers.
- The front button (marked "STOP" and "OFF") and all selector switch covers are locked.
- Front lever and side handle control covers use threaded shafts and bushings to provide hazard protection.
- Precision ground flange to ensure a tight seal when mated with a ground flange on the mounting box
