Non-metallic NC covers for control posts

Additional environmental protection for Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series control stations is now available with a patented series of overlay covers. Easy-to-install, non-metallic NC covers are available with hinges and open fronts and are ideal for corrosive and harsh environments where wear resistance is essential.

A hinged, safety-access cover prevents accidental activation of the equipment and is ideal for lockout/tagout applications. An open, quick-access front cover provides additional protection from impacts and shocks while still allowing quick access to the control device.

Design Features

Clear, UV-stabilized Lexan polycarbonate plastic allows the end user to see enclosed controls and is durable enough to withstand the rough handling common in industrial workplaces.
Downtime due to weather conditions or accidental impact is eliminated, and production stoppages caused by non-functioning or accidentally pressed pushbutton devices are eliminated.
Lockout/tagout capabilities meet OSHA requirements and provide enhanced personnel safety.
Quick and easy overhead installation requires no tools or service interruption
The hinged lid provides an excellent seal thanks to durable neoprene gaskets.
Colored covers are available (e.g. red for emergency, yellow for fire alarm, etc.)
Special chemical resistant coatings are available (may not be clear) - please consult factory for minimum order quantities.
