Design Features
- Reduced installation costs – a multi-unit unit assembly can be installed in less time than several single-unit units.
- Seals are not required between gangs
- Improved appearance - no open channel between devices.
- Lightweight – The 15-piece aluminum housing of the unit can be installed by one person
- Mounting feet are provided at the top and bottom of each group to facilitate installation.
- Two- and three-post tandem housings have 1-1/4" horizontal pass-through hubs and 1" or 2" vertical through hubs; pipe plugs are installed in one horizontal hub and both vertical hubs.
- Single-unit units have 1-inch through-feed horizontal hubs and 3/4-inch through-feed vertical hubs; pipe plugs are installed in one horizontal hub and both vertical hubs.
- All hubs have tapered threads and integrated bushings.
- Closed nipples, which are used to connect two or more device bodies together, are supplied with EDSCM21, 32, 33, 62 and 63 modules.
- Any combination of bodies can be connected together horizontally
