Design Features
Safe and durable design designed to withstand harsh and hazardous conditions:
- Provides motor control and shutdown protection for hazardous areas Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.
- Isolates the power supply to electrical installations and devices during maintenance, cleaning and repair work.
- Certified as factory assembled to ATEX and IECEX standards.
- Conforms to IEC/EN 62626-1 Class 1. Locking design prevents lid opening during servicing.
- Operating temperature range from -55°C to +55°C for gas group IIC
- Switching capacity of AC-3 and DS-23 for disconnecting the power supply of devices and other electrical equipment during maintenance, cleaning and repair work
- Lockable in the OFF position with three padlocks.
- The cover threads can be easily removed and replaced if damaged. There is no need to replace the entire switch.
