EBMXS Explosion-proof Clamp-on Motor Starters

The only NEMA 7 clamp-on enclosure for hazardous locations. One of the biggest challenges with enclosures located in hazardous locations is accessibility. Accessing internal components for preventative maintenance or troubleshooting requires loosening and then retightening up to 70 bolts, leading to long periods of downtime and safety risks due to improperly tightened or missing bolts.

The Crouse-Hinds EBMX series clamp-on enclosures utilize patented clamping technology to reduce downtime, improve safety, and lower maintenance costs. EBMXS motor starters provide continuous starting, stopping, speed modification, and reversing of multiphase AC induction motors under overload and undervoltage conditions. They are ideal for harsh and hazardous motor control environments in refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, facilities handling corrosive media, food and beverage manufacturing, marine, and mining applications.
