The Crouse-Hinds SCSR series includes a combination starter and receptacle for quick connection of a portable motor control and troubleshooting solution. It provides equipment protection against overload and short circuits, enables local and remote motor control via a wireless gateway or wired connection, and prevents power from being applied under all pre-defined conditions. The SCSR intelligent motor starter receptacle offers a wide range of protection features and is suitable for use in industrial environments.

Design Features

Overload and short circuit protection with socket for emergency and portable loads
Mechanically Locked Door - The flange handle mechanism is fitted with a latch inside the door to lock the door in the ON position.
Straight wiring with line terminals on top, with terminals on the bottom
Option between NEMA Freedom Series starter and IEC XT Series starter with lockable fuse switches or MCP/thermomagnetic circuit breakers
Robust 10250T 30mm thick pilot units are used with selectable lid control options.
A CPT (Control Power Transformer) option is available to step down the primary voltage to a secondary voltage that supplies secondary power to the controlled components.
Ambient operating temperature from -25°C to +55°C (compared to the NEC standard operating temperature of -10°C to +40°C)
