Spectex 20/20 miniature fire detectors are reliable, general-purpose devices (without Ex approval) with a lower cost, low power consumption, and a compact design. The minimum MTBF for these devices is 100,000 hours.

The series includes three 20/... models:
- 20MI. Infrared three-range (IR3) flame detector with maximum immunity to false alarms, in a durable stainless steel housing.
- 20ML. Ultraviolet/Infrared Miniature Detector. Includes both UV and IR sensors, detecting hydrocarbon fuel, gas, hydroxyl, hydrogen, as well as metal and inorganic fires at a distance of up to 15 m. The UV sensor's dedicated logic circuit helps prevent solar radiation-induced alarms. Simultaneous detection of radiant energy by both the UV and IR sensors triggers an alarm.
- 20MPI. A low-power, three-band IR flame detector in a lightweight polycarbonate housing. It retains all the advantages of IR3 technology—long-range fire detection (up to 43 m) and high immunity to false alarms. This mini detector is ideal for indoor use in areas such as airport terminals, train stations, warehouses, public buildings, and more.
