The Eaton UPS Companion program provides secure shutdown of UPS systems. It's a simple way to enhance UPS protection for small offices/home offices (SOHO), small businesses, and residential users. Eaton UPS Companion allows for easy configuration of shutdown parameters and provides simple access to UPS settings. Additionally, Eaton UPS Companion provides energy cost and consumption data, allowing users to better assess the power requirements of their protected equipment.

Eaton's Intelligent Power Protector (IPP) software automatically and gracefully shuts down network devices during extended power outages, preventing data loss and saving unfinished processes. IPP is part of Eaton's power management system and works in conjunction with Eaton Intelligent Power Manager to provide comprehensive power management and protection.
