Distributed control systems (DCS)

Automated industrial automation systems are becoming increasingly larger and more complex every year, occupying large areas and incorporating numerous sensors. To control these systems, modern, efficient solutions called DCSs (Distributed Control Systems) are used.

DCSs comprise multiple controllers distributed over a large area, along with input and output modules. This approach ensures maximum similarity between the structure of the distributed system, its operating algorithm, and the structure of the automation object itself. Data collection and processing functions, computation, and control are distributed among a large number of controllers.
