The DB20C series loudspeaker is designed to generate voice signals in intrinsically hazardous environments. This ceiling-mounted loudspeaker is intrinsically safe and suitable for installation in Zone 2 and Groups IIB and IIC.

Explosion protection ratings: 2Exde IIB T3/T4, 2Exde IIC T4/T5, Ex tD A21 T130°C/T115°C/T100°C. Installation is in ceilings with a thickness of 0.5-55 mm. The protective grille diameter is Ø175 mm. A professionally selected frequency range and sound pressure ensure high-quality speech at the speaker output.

Explosion-proof horn loudspeakers are used, among other things, for emergency personnel alerts and general public address in hazardous areas. They are most widely used in the oil, gas, chemical, metallurgy, food, and other industries. They are also used to transmit voice signals in integrated public address systems.

DB14 Series All-Weather Horn Loudspeaker

The DB14 all-weather horn loudspeaker is designed for personnel notification and is used in industrial and process communication systems. Its primary application is in challenging environments.

The housing is made of impact-resistant, antistatic fiberglass polyester (GRP), which is highly fire-resistant and has increased UV resistance. The main metal components are made of stainless steel, ensuring the reliability of the metal parts and their resistance to aggressive, humid environments.

The standard version of the speaker has a built-in 100V transformer.

The cable glands required for bi-wiring the speaker are not included. However, the enclosure does have M20 threaded holes.

DB20 Series Explosion-Proof Horn Loudspeaker

The DB20 loudspeaker is designed for use in areas where the atmosphere may contain explosive gas mixtures.

Intrinsically safe loudspeakers are used for emergency and service notification in hazardous areas and at oil and gas, chemical and metallurgical industry facilities.

The features of these devices include an operating temperature from -55 to +70 and resistance to aggressive environments due to the use of specially developed GRP plastic.

Explosion-proof sound siren DB1

High-power sounders in this series were designed for use in explosive atmospheres and harsh operating conditions. These sounders generate audible signals in fire alarm and fire suppression systems when used in conjunction with control panels.
The DB1 siren features single-tone and dual-tone operation with a choice of 27 preprogrammed tones. This makes the alarms versatile and suitable for use in any environment.

The alarms are available in versions with different supply voltages: 12V DC, 24V DC, and 220V AC (specified when ordering). The connection diagram is two-wire.

The alarm cable entry holes have M20 threads, allowing the alarms to be equipped with various cable entries: for open-air cable routing, for piped cable routing, and for armoured cable. The alarms are not supplied with cable entries.

The alarm requires no maintenance throughout its entire service life. The alarm housing's coating is resistant to most acids, alkalis, and chemicals.

The alarms can be painted according to customer specifications and equipped with identification plates.

DB4B Series Explosion-Proof Horn Loudspeakers

Eaton's Crouse-Hinds DB4B series loudspeakers are designed for use in potentially explosive gas and dust environments. They are suitable for use in marine environments, both onshore and offshore, and in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.

The powerful explosion-proof DB4B loudspeaker was introduced as a replacement for the DB4 with improved intelligibility and acoustic performance.

Certified for use over a wide temperature range (-55°C to +85°C), the Ex enclosure is constructed of fiberglass with a durable thermoplastic flange for corrosion resistance.

The frequency response of the device ensures high intelligibility of critical voice messages and general alarm signals.

Specific SPL rating for sensitivity: 1W at 1m is 110dB, while at 1m a 25W unit gives 124dB, a 15W unit 122dB and an 8W unit 119dB.

This device is available in a wide variety of configurations.

Explosion-proof sound sirens DB3B

The DB3B is a high-power explosion-proof sounder that replaces the existing DB3 model with improved functionality and performance.

Certified for use in a wide temperature range from -55°C to +85°C, the explosion-proof housing is constructed of fiberglass-reinforced polyester with a durable thermoplastic horn, making the unit corrosion-resistant and providing a pleasing appearance.

The DB3B can deliver a sound level of 122 dB at a distance of 1 m and comes with a selection of pre-recorded audio tones. The device features a built-in volume control, making it ideal for applications requiring a quieter sound.

The unit is available with various control options, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of control methods and PLCs.

The standard DC-powered device has three audio signal stages. Each stage has 28 available audio signals, which can be selected independently. The device is controlled by reversing the polarity of the power supply (two-stage) or by applying a common negative and switching between multiple positive power sources.

The DB3B model demonstrates its versatility with the additional ability to operate with a common positive power supply and switchable negative terminals. The DB3B's audio signal levels can also be adjusted using the free contacts on the control panel.

The line's versatility also lies in its wide supply voltage range. The short horn version is a worthy addition to the line, offering high SPL in a compact enclosure.
