Connectors and accessories

The Redapt DP-E series Exe breather drains provide a method of preventing moisture build-up within an enclosure approved for use in hazardous areas, while maintaining the integrity and Ex approval of the installation.

They allow the air inside the cabinet to circulate with the surrounding atmosphere, preventing condensation and possible damage to sensitive electrical/electronic equipment housed within. This maintains the IP66 rating of the enclosure in which it is installed.

Designed for use in hazardous areas, Redapt DP-E series drains are Exe "increased safety" certified for use in zones 1 and 2. They are also Ex tb "dust-tight" certified for use in zones 21 and 22.

Allows the housing to "breathe" and prevents short circuits or corrosion.
Designed for use where equipment is subject to temperature fluctuations, which can lead to condensation and subsequent moisture accumulation, Redapt Breathers allow the air within the enclosure to breathe with the surrounding atmosphere, helping prevent condensation and potential damage to sensitive electrical/electronic equipment located within.

Exe metal air vent
The DP-E Series provides a method to prevent moisture accumulation in a hazardous area approved enclosure.

Nylon air vent Exe
The DP-E4 Series provides a method to prevent moisture accumulation in a hazardous area approved enclosure.

Redapt BD-U breathable drainage systems of the Exd "Fire Resistance" and Exe "Increased Safety" series perform the primary function of effectively draining water located inside the enclosure.

In addition to draining water, it also allows the air in the case to breathe with the surrounding atmosphere, minimizing moisture accumulation, preventing condensation and potential damage to sensitive electrical/electronic equipment housed within.

Approved to the latest international standards, Redapt explosion-proof breathers can be supplied with ATEX and IECEx certification for hazardous areas.

Raxton's range of thread conversion accessories includes DM earth marks, nipples, couplings, brushes, GA locknuts, shrouds, ring washers, serrated washers and DN earth locknuts.

DM ground marks
Raxton earthing tags allow the flexible earth to be connected to a gland, threaded adapter or threaded reducer in any required position while still providing suitable earthing capability.

Nipples, couplings and bushings
Raxton offers a range of threaded nipples, couplings and sleeves with external and internal threads, round or hexagonal, in a variety of thread shapes and materials.

GA lock nuts
Raxton offers a wide range of locknuts, jam nuts and castellated locknuts which are often recommended for securing cable glands, threaded adapters or thread reducers to a gland plate or to equipment.

HC housings
Raxton enclosures are used to minimize the risk of dirt or foreign matter accumulation on the cable gland body and/or at the cable-gland connection. Colored PVC enclosures, low-smoke and low-fume PVC enclosures, and neoprene enclosures are available.

Sealing washers HA
To maintain the IP rating of your equipment, Raxton offers a wide selection of sealing washers and O-rings for entry threads. Materials include nylon, Teflon, neoprene, fiber, silicone, and fluorosilicone.

GC Serrated Washers
Raxton serrated washers are made from stainless steel and prevent the risk of a fastener working loose when used in conjunction with a lock nut.

DN Grounding Locknuts
Raxton earthing locknuts are an alternative to the standard earth mark when connecting a metal cable gland to a thin walled steel enclosure.

Eaton's Capri hazardous area cable glands (including the ADE series) and industrial cable glands feature a wide range of accessories to support installation and provide additional functionality.

Accessories included in the range: clamping modules, cable sheath washers, earth tags, IP washers, industrial lock nuts, earth lock nuts, PVC housings, toothed washers, amplifiers, reducers, adapters, industrial plugs (plastic and metal) and transition rings.

Clamping modules
Designed for use with ADE series cable entries, the clamping module significantly increases deformation resistance and ensures the absence of lateral force.

Lead sheath washer
For use in our ADE-4F and ADE-5F glands, working in conjunction with the inner seal, this accessory provides grounding of the inner shell.

Grounding tags
Grounding tags are designed specifically for use with ADE series cable glands. They allow for grounding of the cable armor through the gland itself.

PVC casings
Covers are used to provide a cover over the cable entry for aesthetic protection.

Industrial locknuts and grounding locknuts
Used in conjunction with externally threaded cable entries and often with an IP washer, earthing locknuts make it easier to fit equipment into a thin-walled enclosure.

Serrated washers
Serrated (shockproof) washers are designed to prevent the risk of a fastener coming loose when used in combination with a lock nut.

Amplifiers, adapters and connectors
Amplifiers, adapters and reducers are designed to adapt the thread of a cable to the opening, threaded or not, of the housing in which it will be located.

Industrial plastic and metal plugs
Hexagonal and dome head plugs are designed to fill holes left in reserve for future additional cable entries.

IP washers
To increase the IP protection of the system, it is recommended to use an IP washer.

Reducing rings
Used to reduce the clamping range of cable entries. Reducing rings are made of PVC or Perbunan and fit our industrial cable entries.

The plug features high-quality nickel-plated contacts. The housing is made of corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, and impact-resistant materials.
