Crouse-Hinds IEC 60309 series receptacles with RCD/MCB protection provide local, individual protection for connected equipment in hazardous and industrial environments.

With a tripping current of 10-500 mA, IEC 60309 sockets protect against serious personal injury due to electric shock in the event of a fault in the connected equipment.

Thanks to built-in RCD/MCB sockets, individual work zones can be isolated during maintenance work. In the event of a fault, only the affected zone is disconnected, while all other zones remain operational. Individual zones can be manually disconnected and protected from accidental reconnection with a padlock.

What does IP69K mean?
The Ingress Protection (IP) rating determines how effectively a product prevents the ingress of foreign objects during use. The "6" in IP69K refers to external protection against solid particles and means the product is completely dust-tight. The "9" designates protection against liquids and high-pressure splashes at close range. The "K" denotes the high temperature of the water used. This combination provides an excellent solution for heavy-duty industrial applications and harsh cleaning conditions, making our Arrow Hart pin and sleeve devices ideal for use in the food and beverage industry.

How is IP69K testing performed?
To achieve an IP69K rating, a strong jet of water is directed at the device from four directions. To achieve this rating, the device must not cause any harmful effects. The test duration is 2 minutes.

Eliminates electrical interference
Insulated adapters are an ideal method of providing grounding for cable armour in hazardous environments, particularly where instruments or equipment are highly sensitive to electrical interference.

They can also reduce circulating currents that can cause high-voltage cables to heat up and separate high- and low-voltage ground fault paths.

Raxton adapters and reducers enable connections between dissimilar thread shapes or sizes. Both options feature Exd explosion protection and Exe enhanced safety.

Exd/Exe adapters effectively reduce the diameter of the threaded entry into the enclosure to accept a gland or fitting with a smaller thread.

Exd/Exe adapters work in reverse, increasing the size of the input thread.

Providing flame-retardant (Exd) and increased safety (Exe) protection, a wide operating temperature range (-60 to +200 °C) can be achieved depending on the sealing ring or sealing washer used.

The range includes five design types: tamper-evident cap (CF), RX cap (CB), hexagon head cap (CK), domed head cap (CQ) and hollow hexagon head (CY).

Five types in the line of metal plugs

Tamper-evident plug - type CF
Tamper-evident plugs are inserted from the outside with an Allen key towards the body and then tightened from the inside, leaving a flush surface to prevent unauthorized removal.

RX plug - CB type
The RX plugs are inserted with an Allen key in the direction away from the box and tightened from the outside.

Hexagon Head Hollow Plug - Type CY
Hollow version of the hexagon head plug, but with Exd/Exe certification.

Hexagon head dowel - type CK
Hexagon-head plugs are inserted from the outside and secured with a wrench. They can be equipped with a washer to increase the IP rating.

Dome head plug - type CQ
May be offered as an alternative to the hex head version. A glass-filled nylon version is available for the CQ type only.

The Capri ADE-6F is a widely approved gland for use in hazardous areas using a diaphragm rather than a compression internal seal to protect against cold flow damage.

Suitable for IEC and NEC installations and many cable types, the ADE-6F offers a range of materials and thread options to suit all requirements.

Universal armor clamp
The ADE 4F, ADE 5F, and ADE 6F models offer universal designs for all types of armored cable. All designs provide armor clamping and grounding for all armor types using reversible components.

Nickel-plated brass is used in all Eaton Capri ADE series cable glands for its superior corrosion resistance and contamination protection. A uniform coating of 5 to 7 microns is applied during the galvanizing process to ensure a high-quality finish without chipping, peeling, or flaking under extreme conditions.

The sealing material for Eaton's Capri ADE series cable glands has been carefully developed to achieve optimal performance. Capri ADE-1F2 cable glands are IP66 and IP68 rated, dust-tight, and fully submersible.

Our ISOCAP and NORMADIX series of industrial cable glands made of nickel-plated brass allow the connection of unarmoured cables.

With ISO and Pg threads, this series offers a very compact design, making ISOCAP and NORMADIX a very cost-effective solution in industrial applications where space saving is a must.

The cable entry is equipped with a thermoplastic elastomer sealing ring, which ensures an IP66 seal on the cable's outer sheath and ideal tensile strength. Furthermore, the sealing ring color varies depending on the cable entry size, allowing for quick and easy identification.

Capri UNICAP is a universal plastic cable gland for use in a variety of industrial and domestic applications with unarmoured round cables.

It has an extended operating temperature range compared to simple plastic seals, ranging from -20°C to +100°C, and is rated IP64 for maximum protection against dust and water.

This gland is available with ISO and PG threads and complies with EN62444, either individually or in a set with the appropriate accessories.

Tightness and durability
The Unicap cable gland provides both a watertight seal for the cable's outer sheath and excellent tensile strength. When installed alone, it provides IP64 protection. The seal is further enhanced to IP68 protection by adding a thermoplastic washer.

Our range of universal plastic EUROCAP industrial cable glands allows for the connection of unarmored cables. They are equipped with ISO or Pg threads.

The neoprene sealing ring provides both IP68 sealing on the cable outer jacket and superior tensile strength.

The cable gland, made of polyamide 6.6, meets UL94 V0 classification requirements. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, the EUROCAP series meets the rigors of industrial environments.
