The only NEMA 7 clamp-on enclosure for hazardous locations. One of the biggest challenges with enclosures located in hazardous locations is accessibility. Accessing internal components for preventative maintenance or troubleshooting requires loosening and then retightening up to 70 bolts, leading to long periods of downtime and safety risks due to improperly tightened or missing bolts.
The Crouse-Hinds EBMX series of clamp-on enclosures utilizes patented clamping technology to reduce downtime, enhance safety, and lower maintenance costs. EBMXD explosion-proof disconnect switches provide motor isolation with protection for motor circuits, lighting, heating, and appliances. They are ideal for harsh and hazardous motor control environments in refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, corrosive process facilities, food and beverage manufacturing, and marine and mining industries.
Eaton's Crouse-Hinds CEAG GHG25 Series safety switches and switch disconnectors are designed to provide safe and reliable operation in a wide range of harsh and hazardous locations in the oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and other heavy industry sectors.
Certified for use in Zones 1 and 21, the new GHG25 series of safety switches and disconnectors offers increased switching and isolating capacity, enhanced safety features, and a modular design for added protection for your personnel and operations in hazardous environments. GHG25 safety switches and disconnectors offer full AC-3 motor switching capacity and isolating properties, an easy-to-install design, and easily accessible connection terminals.
Available in polyester or glass-reinforced stainless steel enclosures, our GHG25 portfolio provides superior corrosion resistance, impact resistance and an IP66 rating.
Crouse-Hinds CEAG GHG29 Series Explosion-Proof Control Switches offer up to six contacts and 2 to 5 switch positions, making them ideal for power control applications in hazardous and harsh environments.
With snap-in contact blocks and measuring instruments, and a contoured housing for easy access to the connection terminals, the GHG29 was designed for easy installation. Furthermore, a labyrinth seal in the cover ensures an IP66 protection rating.
Available in impact-resistant fiberglass-reinforced polyester or powder-coated cast aluminum, these control switches can withstand the harshest hazardous and industrial environments.
Globally certified for safe and reliable use in Division 2 Zones 1 and 2 such as chemical plants, oil and gas refineries, paint and varnish manufacturing plants, gasoline loading terminals, grain elevators or coal handling where the atmosphere may contain hazardous gases and/or dust.
Crouse-Hinds EIC Series Combination Starters are an economical, easy-to-use, and readily available solution for panel shops, skid mounters, and other OEM applications.
Designed to provide continuous starting and stopping of multiphase AC induction motors with overload protection, EIC starters operate safely and reliably in harsh and hazardous motor control environments including refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, corrosive process facilities, food and beverage, marine and mining.
